How the pandemic turned a five-year plan into an overnight implementation

Time-sensitive troubleshooting

When asked what the three best benefits of using  FlowsEasys Zoho partner services were, Matt answered, "Number one is the contact centre. Being able to speak to a member of the team at FlowsEasy, in the moment, knowing that there are multiple people there that can take ownership of an issue."

Rapid delivery

Previously using an 'old school server' meant remote employees had to connect using a VPN, and live team collaboration was virtually impossible without the ability for multiple members to edit documents simultaneously.  

A problem which until the pandemic had been manageable, but as lockdown began, Matt says, "We had to quickly adapt, we had to make ourselves mobile, we had to be homeworking and be productive."

Matt says, "They [FlowsEasy] made us remote overnight, implemented technology that I'll probably have planned over a five-year program... literally in a matter of days."  

Whilst FlowsEasy doesn't recommend implementing Zoho within a week, it is possible to get basic functionality set up and data transferred from legacy systems. Every client and situation is different; in this case, speed and delivery were crucial, so that is what was provided.

Change management and team training

Navigation Wealth Management introduced Zoho rapidly to solve a problem created by the pandemic, remote working. Initially, Matt and his operations team conducted training in the form of webinars and Q&A sessions. However, Matt said, "We realised we weren't the experts in that field, so we engaged the guys at FlowsEasy."

"They built us a series of training videos, on-demand modules the team could log in to and watch, that was relevant to them at the appropriate time." Matt added, "their training videos and on-call support were probably the main reason we were able to implement so successfully."

Every business uses a system differently to fit with internal processes and bespoke configurations. Having seen considerable growth, especially in recent years, Matt is planning on utilising technology to support growth with minimal requirements for investment in additional resources and personnel.

Matt says, "I'm trying to move into an automated space, and I want to use artificial intelligence to help us do that." and "I see Zoho being a big part of that."
